While 400,000 Arizonans lose sleep over Trumpcare vote, Doug Ducey dreams of $400,000 Million of Koch Bros. money

Hundreds of thousands of Arizonans are losing sleep with what’s going on in Washington, as Republicans look to dismantle the Affordable Care Act and kick 22 million Americans off their insurance.

But while hard-working Arizonans fret about the future, Republican leaders like Governor Doug Ducey find solace in the $400,000 million dollars the Koch Brothers will drop to save their political careers.

Unfortunately Arizonans don’t have that kind of protection, not even from their Governor.

“It’s revolting to think that while hundreds of thousands of Arizonans are on the verge of losing health coverage, Governor Doug Ducey leaves the state to go wine and dine with the very wealthy Koch Brothers in an upscale resort,” said Arizona Democratic Party Communications Director Enrique Gutierrez. “Talk about screwed up priorities, it’s donors over Arizonans for the Governor.

“It only took Nevada’s Governor Brian Sandoval one day to come out publicly on a bill that would hurt 200,000 Nevadans, with over 400,000 Arizonans in jeopardy of losing coverage, Ducey has been dead silent. It’s time Governor Ducey publically defend Arizonans against this heartless bill, and grow some...political courage.”
